Rakshitha from 4th semester B.Com, and Thejaswini S. and Nethrawathi from 4th semester BCA for their outstanding achievement in the inter-collegiate Ball Badminton Tournament 2K24, held from May 8th to 13th at BMS College for Women. A special congratulations to Thejaswini S. from 4th semester BCA for being awarded the Best Player Award in the Ball Badminton game! AIKYAM : HR CLUB ACTIVITY ACTIVITY : BEST MANAGER PARTICIPANTS : UG STUDENTS Date: 30th April 2024 OBJECTIVE: The aim of this event was to identify the student with the traits of a good manager. It also aims to find out how he/she demonstrates the skills, knowledge and talents of a good manager. It further tests him/her on how he/she uses the strategies to solve the problems. THE ROUNDS FOR THE BEST MANAGER : • Psychometric Test. • Group discussion . • Rapid Fire. CONDITIONS AND RULES FOR PARTICIPANTS : • The best manager was carried out in 3 different rounds and those were conducted in 1 day at regular intervals. • Participants with professional dress code were allowed. LEARNING OUTCOME: • As students, they got a fair idea about how a selection of Best Manager happens . • The students figured out how to get great outcomes by setting the appropriate context, rather than by trying to control their people.”. • Students have learnt that Best Manager is not just a competition, it is an experience. REPORT ON THEME WEEK

REPORT ON THEME WEEK Cultural department conducted a “Spectrum Week” from 22.4.2024 to 27.4.2024 for all the B Com & BBA students. Different themes of celebration was given to the students like Theme Hallo· ween Day -Dressing Spooky and Creative to have fun. Mismatched Day - Slaying with combinations with fun & unique ideas Executive Dress -C reating an air of sophistication and professional confidence. Twinning Dress - Dressing in pairs with color or Prints to achieve Friendship Goals Ethnic Day -Showcasing Indian Culture The main aim is to promote and insist a sense of belongingness among the students. Students were asked to dress up as per the theme. All the students took active participation in the Spectrum week. Each day the best dressed male and female students were chosen to motivate them as a token of appreciation and awarded with prizes. Besides being great fun these events also inculcate various skills like coordination, competitive spirit, sportsmanship and creativity among the students. Faculty Coordinator Asst. Blood Donation Camp" on Tuesday, April 23,

The BIMA NSS unit, in collaboration with Narayana Hrudayalaya, successfully organized a "Blood Donation Camp" on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. We are pleased to report that nearly 50 students generously donated blood during the event. Additionally, all students and faculties underwent blood pressure, sugar, and ECG checks, ensuring comprehensive health screenings. Thank you to all participants for their invaluable contributions to this noble cause.

Viksit Bharat 2047'

Viksit Bharat 2047 The Next Frontier Viksit Bharat 2047' is the current government's roadmap to making India a completely developed nation by 2047. Under YUVAMANTHAN Model , Bangalore Integrated Management Academy has adopted UNDP ( United Nations development Programme ) under the theme” Lifestyle for Environment”- Environmental degradation and climate change are global phenomena where actions in one part of the world impact ecosystems and populations across the globe. Henceforth the topic was chosen. The main objective of the programme is to help nations to withstand crisis and drive and sustain growth that improves the quality of life for everyone. UG Students represented different countries and the core committee. GEEETHA S EDUCATIONAL TRUST (R) BANGALORE INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT ACADEMY Career Guidance Seminar Defining the future Bangalore Integrated Management Academy in association with Imarticus Learning, a recognized institution by the National Skill Development Corporation as their official partner under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, one of the fastest-growing EdTech Companies , Conducted a Career Guidance Seminar on the topic of Certified Management Accountant (CMA) - US Certified. The seminar was held on 04th April 2024 in the campus for 2nd year BCOM and BBA Students and aimed to educate professionals about the benefits and requirements of obtaining the CMA certification. Speaker Mr. MARK BRANDON VERNUM shared their personal experiences and success stories, inspiring the attendees to pursue the CMA certification. The seminar covered various key topics related to the CMA certification, including: a. CMA Exam Structure: The speaker provided an overview of the CMA exam structure, which consists of two parts - Part 1: Financial Planning, Performance, and Control Part 2: Financial Decision Making. b. Exam Content: The content of each exam part was discussed in detail, focusing on the knowledge and skills required to pass the exams successfully. c. Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility requirements for the CMA certification were explained, including the educational and experience prerequisites. d. Exam Preparation: The seminar provided valuable insights into effective exam preparation strategies, study materials, and recommended resources. e. Benefits of CMA Certification: The speaker emphasized the numerous benefits of obtaining the CMA certification, such as enhanced career prospects, increased earning potential, and professional recognition. The seminar provided a platform for professionals from various industries to network and connects with like-minded individuals. Attendees had the chance to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build valuable professional relationships.

International Women's Day was joyously celebrated in the esteemed BIMA Auditorium on March 15th, 2024. We were honored to have Dr. N Spandana Lulla, a distinguished gynecologist from Aster Hospital, as our esteemed chief guest for the event. Nethralaya Eye foundation had organised a successful eye check up and eye donation camp

"The Eyes are the window to your soul." - Shakespeare. BIMA in association with Narayana Nethralaya Eye foundation had organised a successful eye check up and eye donation camp for UG students on 11th March 2024, about 400 members including students and staffs got benefited. Eye Donation awareness was created by Narayana Nethralaya Doctors. , they suggested students to TAKE CARE OF YOUR EYES Because THEY ARE GOD’S GIFT TO BE PASSED ON. 15 students had given the pledge to donate their eyes. Eye check up camp helped to reduce the development of critical eye problem among the students at a later stage and understanding the importance of preserving vision for life.
